REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY
We're sorry you didn't love your Poppy Hair! We are happy to accept returns and exchanges within 30 days on all sets that have not been opened, worn, or tampered with. Because of the delicate nature of 100% Remy Human Poppy Hair, once the VOID sticker that seals your extensions set is broken, you are no longer eligible for a refund. Your right to return is only valid if the hair extensions have not been removed from their original packaging, still in their original brand new sealed condition and the tamper seal/guarantee void seal/packaging has not been tampered with.
The good news is that Poppy Hair Extensions come with a tester weft in the bottom compartment of the hair bag for that very reason. We encourage you to use the included tester weft before breaking the VOID seal to determine whether the color is a good match or not. Returns will be allowed if the tester weft is open as long as the VOID sticker is still in place and the extension set has not been opened.
We are happy to accept your hair extensions back for return as long as they are unopened - the hygiene seal (VOID STICKER) must still be intact and the hair must not be removed from the original packaging. If the tester weft isn’t a good match for your hair, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate your return and we will be more than happy to assist you further. Please note: sale items are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
Our return/exchange policy lasts 30 days from the time of purchase (except pre-order sales which will last 30 days from the time of shipment). If 30 days have passed by since your purchase (or the ship date for pre-order) we will not offer a refund or exchange.
Poppy Hair Extensions is not responsible for return shipping fees or lost returns. Original postage costs are non-refundable.
HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?
To make a return, Poppy Hair Extensions must be notified by email within 7 business days of receipt of your order to receive a return authorization number. Email us at email@example.com within 7 business days of receipt of your order with the subject "Return" and your order number. We will then provide you with a return/exchange form with instructions and a return address to ship your set back. All returned items will be inspected to see if you qualify for a refund, as opened merchandise will not be refunded. Please ensure your return conforms to the returns policy. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Be sure to include the TESTER portion from your set of Poppy Hair as it is part of the full set of extensions! The TESTER piece may NOT be died, cut or altered in any way in order to receive a refund for the extensions or a color exchange!
Poppy Hair packages don’t include return slips, you are responsible for shipping your return back to us. Just reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of your order to help you place your return or exchange.
Simply ship your items you wish to return back to us, including your untampered extensions packaging, tester weft, and clear zippered pouch. Pack all your item(s) and include your return/exchange form into a box.
Note: We highly recommend shipping your set via a trackable shipping option, as that can greatly expedite the process.
As noted in our returns policy above, unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on hair extensions which have been used or if the packaging has been opened or tampered with.
WHAT IS THE RETURN PERIOD?
We will provide a refund on unopened hair extensions within thirty (30) days of the date that you receive your hair extensions.
WHY ARE POPPY HAIR EXTENSIONS NON-RETURNABLE IF OPENED?
Human Hair Extensions are considered a hygiene sensitive product, once the seal has been broken or the extensions have been taken out of their packaging, they will be exempt of return or exchange. Poppy Hair takes hygiene and public safety seriously and does not allow opened items to be returned for the safety of all our customers. We are not alone - other hair extension supplies do not allow returns of opened items for the same hygiene reasons. Also, as part of the Consumer Protection Regulations Act 2000, certain goods by reason of their nature cannot be returned.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING OF MY RETURN?
Yes, you are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend that you send your return with a tracking option because Poppy Hair will not be responsible for lost returns.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the status of the VOID sticker. If you are approved, a full refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Credit card refunds usually take 5 – 10 business days to appear on your statement (may vary depending on your bank). Please allow a few business days for your financial institution to reflect the refund on your statement prior to contacting us.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@poppyhairextensions..com.
MAY I RETURN MY POPPY HAIR EXTENSIONS WITHOUT CONTACTING YOU OR GETTING AN RMA?
No. You must contact us prior to sending your return, as the return address may be different from the address your order was originally shipped from. Also, the RMA facilitates tracking of your returned product and expedites your refund. Please note that refunds for merchandise returned without contacting us cannot be guaranteed.
CAN I RETURN SALE ITEMS?
No, only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.
HOW TO RETURN DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEMS?
If you receive Poppy Hair that is in some way defective or different from the one that you ordered, sorry about that! Please reach out to us immediately at email@example.com to initiate an exchange and we’ll be sure to get the Poppy Hair you ordered. Please send a photo of the damaged or wrong item, you have 7 days after purchase to exchange or get a refund on defective or wrong items.
CAN I RETURN A GIFT?
Yes, if the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll be issued a gift card for the value of your return.
